The 6th Annual Williamson County Caregiver Conference on Saturday, September 21, 2019 was a packed house of 150+ attendees, volunteers, speakers and sponsors.
Presented by AGE of Central Texas and the Area Agency on Aging for the Capital Area, the annual event is a free day of learning, support and fellowship for family caregivers in the Round Rock, Pflugerville, Cedar Park, Leander, Hutto, Lockhart and Georgetown areas.
The 2019 Conference feature Amanda Fredriksen, associate state director of advocacy, AARP Texas, as keynote speaker; presentations from Monique O’Neil, Blanton Museum of Art museum educator, Family and Community Programs, and Dr. Amy Walters, assistant professor, St. Augustine University Physical Therapy Department; and community resources to support family members who are caring for a senior adult.
The Senior Resource Guide was a proud sponsor of the 6th Annual Williamson County Caregiver Conference and provided free copies of the Guide to attendees.
