Attendees learned "The Truth About Our Aging Brain" at the 55 Plus Seminar Series on March 12, 2020 hosted by Austin Senior Resource Alliance.
The 90-minute panel presentation held at Twin Oaks Branch Library covered brain health and the aging brain from some of the most knowledgeable and experienced professionals in the senior service industry.
The featured speakers were Michalyn Reibly, memory program coordinator at Belmont Village Lakeway; Haydee Becerril, PsyD, Alzheimer's Association Capital of Texas Chapter; Amy Temperley, co-founder of Aging is Cool; and Dr. Kathy Richards, research professor, senior research scientist, The University of Texas at Austin.
The panel was excellent and brought a variety of knowledge and information.
