2018 Keels & Wheels at Lakewood Yacht Club
Thousands flocked to Lakewood Yacht Club in beautiful Seabrook on May 5-6, 2018 for Keels & Wheels 23rd Annual Concours d'Elegance benefiting Today’s Harbor for Children.
The weekend-long, nationally acclaimed classic car and vintage wooden boat show featured the marques of Ferrari, Pierce-Arrow, and Super Cars and honored classic wood and fiberglass boats. Rare cars like the last Ferrari Barchetta ever built, 1924 Bentley Speedster, 1962 XKE Jaguar Roadster, a one-of-a-kind Ferrari built for Henry Ford Jr. as a gift from Enzo Ferrari, and the 1953 Cadillac Fleetwood from the classic movie "Driving Miss Daisy" were all on display.
This year's raffle winner was Janet Foshee and husband Dave, who received the keys to a brand new 2018 Lincoln MKC SUV (valued at over $39,000) from Bayway Lincoln. The raffle prize was underwritten and presented by 2018 Title Sponsor, The Jon & Jacqueline Hodges Charitable Foundation.
Drawing thousands of participants and spectators from all over the U.S. and Europe, Keels & Wheels welcomes approximately 200 cars and 100 boats and has raised more than $1.7 million for local charities. Next year’s event is slated for May 4-5, 2019.
The Senior Resource Guide was proud to be a sponsor and supporter of this event.
