The 2020 Bay Area Go Red For Women Luncheon held on Friday, February 21 at the South Shore Harbour and Resort had its most successful year yet! The event raised $265,000—over $100,000 more than last year—and had a record attendance of over 480 guests.
Hosted by the American Heart Association, the empowering event focused on preventing heart disease and stroke by promoting healthy lifestyles, building awareness and raising critically-needed funds to support research and education initiatives. There were blood pressure screenings hosted by UTMB, a great live and silent auction, and even a champagne wall and champagne server table.
The program included honoring the Faces of Heart Survivors, the Open Your Heart Survivor who was the speaker and shared her story about having open heart surgery only nine months ago, and the Heart Ambassadors.
The Senior Resource Guide was a proud sponsor of the 2020 Bay Area Go Red For Women Luncheon and provided free copies of the Guide for attendees.
