On Friday, February 28, 2020, over 400 Austin-area women attended the American Heart Association's 16th Annual Go Red for Women Summit at the JW Marriott Hotel.
The Summit featured educational breakout sessions, a health expo and a heart-healthy lunch. Pam LeBlanc, adventure writer, photographer and adventurer, was the featured guest.
The Go Red for Women movement empowers women to focus on preventing heart disease and stroke by promoting healthy lifestyles, building awareness and raising critically-needed funds to support research and education initiatives.
The event was nationally sponsored by CVS Health and locally presented by St. David’s HealthCare. The Senior Resource Guide was a proud sponsor of the 2020 Austin Go Red for Women Summit and provided free copies of the Guide for attendees.
