a belated thank-you and farewell to Dr. Mosser

My last day at FUMC Arlington was first Sunday in 2013. Because my husband and I finally agreed on a church to consisently attend together (Holy Cross Lutheran on Arkansas LN), I ceased visiting FUMC that I had been visiting for six and a half years. It was a time of spiritual growth, aspects painful yet joyful. Thank you for your easy manner of granting forgiveness and your feeding some of us sheep of the flock. My husband squirmed in Methodism at a few visited services perhaps because of years in being a stalwart Lutheran. Three of our four children visited FUMC a few Sundays, and whether in attendance or not I think they prospered from my connection. I agree with what you said once, that it is deleterious for young people to go in/out of different groups. Since 2013 three of our four children have visited HCLC, two as often as possible coming from out of town on family visits. In a manner I consider FUMC Arlington and your service there as a vehicle in preserving the spiritual life for all six of us. Victoria (Vicky) Herda
