Cantina
Cantina
Founded by Silicon Valley entrepreneurs A.J. Viola and Zachary Hollander, Cantina is a new residential model for downsizing boomers who want to approach this next stage of life differently than their parents.
Cantina's model borrows from co-living, co-housing and single family home rental models to create car free campuses that are distinct, modern, desirable and attainably priced. Coming to Buda in 2021, the first Campus will consist of 80-90 modern, sustainable and universally-designed small-footprint rental homes.
As a series of pocket neighborhoods arrayed around a Great House, the design balances intentional community and privacy, efficiently designed modest personal space with beautiful common amenity spaces, and modern design that feels native to its surroundings.
"We believe that with good design we can create places that make it easy to forge strong connections and have new experiences. Our Buda location will be our flagship campus but we aspire to bring communities like this to other cities within Texas and, ultimately, throughout the U.S.," Viola shared.
