When hosting an event for eldercare professionals, respondents' top goals are to make connections (40%) and gain leads (31%).
Time is important to people now more than ever, so making sure you're hosting events that cater to the industry is essential to your event's success and achieving your goals.
Whether you're hosting an event via Zoom or outdoors, meeting others is crucial for senior care professionals. Adding time to network at your event will increase the likelihood they'll attend.
In your event flier, there are various ways you can portray that making connections will take place:
- Insert "Bring your business cards!"
- Include "Network" or "Networking" in the event title.
- Add "Meet other fellow eldercare professionals" in the text.
Your entire event doesn't have to focus solely around networking, but simply creating the opportunity for others to connect will help your attendance grow.
Lastly, make sure you're capturing contact information to foster any new connections and follow up with leads. Some ways you can do this is by making RSVP required, having a sign-in sheet or hosting a door prize giveaway.
