How Comfortable Are You With Social Media Marketing?
According to the industry, social media is the most effective marketing promotion for businesses.
Everyone is online. Whether you post once a day or once a week, it's important to build and maintain a strong presence on your social media platforms to be relevant in these times of clutter and noise. But this doesn't necessarily mean we're all social media savvy.
So we asked our network how comfortable are you with social media marketing?
Respondents were able to choose from the following:
- Comfortable, I post often #Expert
- In the middle, I post here and there #Intermediate
- Uncomfortable, I rarely post #Beginner
Through our results, we found that 16% of respondents don't feel comfortable with social media marketing while 51% feel in the middle.
No matter where you are on the spectrum of social media comfort, there's always room for improvement.
Here are some #Expert tips to help you improve and maximize your social media skills:
- Be on Facebook. Facebook is currently the most effective social media platform for connecting with industry referral sources. Your clients, prospects and competition are there—you should be too.
- Interact. The more you interact with posts on your feed and in groups, the more organic visibility your posts will receive through the various social media algorithms.
- Make your posts count. You don't need fluff. Channel your energy into well-curated, thought-provoking posts that will resonate with your following and strike up conversation.
- Post timely content. Delve into your social media insights and see when your following is most likely to be on the platform. Post once per day during peak times to increase reach.
