Door Prize for Networking
As marketers in the eldercare industry, we all want to receive as many business cards...I mean entries...for the door prizes at our networking events.
We've seen our fair share of door prizes over the years, and with networkings happening left and right on our calendars, it'd be useful to know what really draws eldercare professionals in.
We asked our network which type of door prize are you most likely to drop your business card for at a networking?
Respondents were able to choose from the following:
- Branded swag
- Alcohol
- Gift card/certificate
- Complimentary consultation/service
- Basket of goodies
Through our results, a whopping 69% of respondents are most likely to drop their business card for a chance to win a gift card/certificate at a networking, 18% basket of goodies, 8% complimentary consultation/service, 3% alcohol and 2% branded swag.
So, the next time you need to put together a door prize, just grab a gift card/certificate. Some popular ones we've seen at networkings are Starbucks, Visa and Chick-fil-A. You could even go the extra mile and bundle it with alcohol, branded swag or a complimentary consultation/service to make it a basket of goodies!
The prize is up to you but just know there's a higher chance you'll receive that golden lead/referral's business card you've been trying get if you include a gift card/certificate.
