Do you ever find yourself browsing through your newsfeed on Facebook and realize that the posts you see aren't exactly tailored to what you want to see?
Don't get us wrong—we love "Friends" GIFs and cat memes just as much as you do, but when you're trying to find referrals and resources from this social media platform, it can be time consuming having to cut through the clutter. The solution? Joining relevant Facebook groups.
We asked our audience of eldercare professionals how many Facebook groups are you a member of relating to the eldercare industry/your profession?
Respondents were able to choose from the following:
- 1-5
- 6-15
- 16-25
- More than 25
- None
Through our results a majority of respondents (54%) are a member of 1-5 Facebook groups relating to the eldercare industry/their profession, followed by 6-15 (25%).
As eldercare professionals, we've found that Facebook groups are a fantastic way to steer the conversation and share relevant updates, events, job listings and so much more for our specific industry. Plus, you can make new connections and build relationships.
Our time is limited and important. Therefore, the more intentional groups you join, the less time you'll spend navigating random posts from friends, family members and different Facebook pages you've liked.
