The United Way Interagency Network Meeting held every month on the second Thursday highlights a variety of community resources and offers social service professionals a valuable opportunity to network with the organizations that provide these services.
The Interagency's purpose is to enhance access to health and human services through networking, education and problem solving.
June's topic is "Physical and Mental Fitness for Adults and Children During COVID-19" given by Robin Fortenberry, director of fitness services at the Jewish Community Center of Houston, and Dr. Sheila D. Williams, mental health author and advocate.
