Great Age Movement 3rd Annual Jazz Luncheon
The Great Age Movement invites you to join them as they host their 3rd Annual Jazz Luncheon on Sunday, June 2, co-chaired by Jennifer Pinkerton and Jessica Rossman.
In attendance will be honoree DeEtte Sauer, Texas Senior Olympics Hall of Famer for swimming with 57 National Senior Games medals at the age of 77; honoree Dr. Rod Paige, former U.S. secretary of education under George W. Bush; and Dr. Carolyn Farb, hc, Houston’s “First Lady of Philanthropy,” who will be the recipient of the first Great Age Vanguard Award. There will be special performances by jazz singer Angela Nichols and the Chinese Community Center’s senior Tai Chi troupe.
After raising close to $100,000 at the first two annual jazz luncheons, Great Age Movement is proud to announce two innovative programs coming to fruition this spring:
In February, Great Age Movement launched an original program in partnership with The Health Museum in the Houston Museum District called, “Senior Art & Exercise.”
In June, Great Age Movement will break ground on Houston’s first senior playground in the Texas Medical Center, in partnership with St. Dominic’s Village.
Individual tickets start at $150 and Sponsorships start at $1,500. Both can be purchased here.
