Join UT Health San Antonio, School of Nursing every month on the second Thursday for an Essentials of Caregiving class. These classes are focused on providing support and tools to caregivers as they care for a loved one living with a diagnosis of Alzheimer's or related dementia.
September's topic will be "Planning for Future Care." This session is designed for caregivers and family members to discuss the importance of making a plan for the future, as well as some of the decisions you will need to make related to care, including advance care planning. As a participant, you have the opportunity to share and reflect with others on their experiences while also discussing strategies to help your loved one prepare for the next steps.
These workshops are FREE to attend and parking and refreshments will be provided. Registration is required here. To see the flier, please visit here.
