Virtual Event: DAI Meeting of the Minds Webinar
DAI Meeting of the Minds Webinar
Join Dementia Alliance International every month on the last Wednesday for their Meeting of the Minds Webinar.
July's topic is "Gait Retraining and Dementia" given by James McLoughlin, associate professor at Flinders University, neurological physiotherapist and director of Advanced Neuro Rehab in South Australia.
People with all forms of dementia can experience changes to their walking and balance. There are many factors that can contribute to these issues that can be targeted within an individualized rehabilitation program. James will discuss some of the proactive ways neurological physiotherapy can help with treatment, training and support.
The event is FREE to attend and will be held virtually via Zoom. Registration is required here. Once registration is complete, you will receive a link to the secure Zoom meeting.
