“Caregiver Training Camp” Conference
Join AGE of Central Texas and Williamson County EMS virtually on March 30 to April 2 for their new caregiver support conference, “Caregiver Training Camp."
The conference is designed to assist first-time caregivers—in particular, those living in rural areas of Central Texas—to better manage the dynamics of their new caregiving role.
The event schedule and topics are:
- Tuesday, March 30: “I’m a Caregiver, Now What?!” - Lori Hill, CaregiverU program associate
- Wednesday, March 31: “Tackling Medical Issues” - Lina Supnet-Zapata, executive director/managing partner for MIR Care Consultants, Inc.
- Thursday, April 1: “Preventing Falls and Caregiver Safety” - Dr. Amy Walters, assistant professor and doctor of physical therapy program at University of St. Augustine
- Friday, April 2: “The Caregiver Playbook” - AGE of Central Texas caregiving experts
