Join Brookdale Senior Living on Thursday, November 19 for "Dementia: The Lived Experience."
Juliet Holt Klinger, MA, senior director of Dementia Care; Michael Belleville, dementia advocate; and Cheryl Belleville, dementia advocate and care partner, will explore the journey from receiving a diagnosis to developing a plan of care and support that leads to a life well-lived. They will discuss strategies to maximize independence, maintain a sense of identity and plan for the future.
The presenters will describe quality care from the perspective of someone living in the early stage and their care partner and will offer insights on how care providers can support efforts to live well for as long as possible.
