Battling Scams During COVID
Beware! Scammers are near! Join The Farrington at Tanglewood on Wednesday, February 17 for a seminar covering "Battling Scams During COVID."
Scam artists are skillful criminals who change their schemes constantly, even during the pandemic. The number of people caught in scams like foreign lotteries, false Medicare information and vaccine testing locations is increasing every day. Learn about these scams and how you can protect yourself during this seminar presented by Jennifer Salazar, program director at The Better Business Bureau Education Foundation.
If you'd like to receive chef-baked goods with coffee before the event, please arrive at The Farrington at Tanglewood for a drive-through pickup between 9:00 and 9:15 a.m. To see the event flier, visit here.
This event is FREE to attend and will be held virtually via Zoom. RSVP to Justin Deutsch, justin@hcrj.org.
