AustinUP Virtual 50+ Job Fair
AustinUP is hosting a virtual version of their job fair for workers who are 50+ on Thursday, May 28!
This one-hour Zoom meeting will be featuring up to three employers talking about their company, staffing needs and application process, and answering questions from potential applicants. Each employer will speak for 20 minutes.
The speakers are listed below:
- Myles Wallace will represent Peak Performers, a nonprofit staffing firm in Austin that recruits for contract, temporary, temp-to-hire and direct hire positions in the state of Texas and other local government agencies.
- Jessica Sholars will represent Texas Home Health, a company that provides skilled home healthcare services, personal care services, hospice/end-of-life care and care management to residents across the state.
- Sarav Sundar will represent the U.S. Census Bureau. Temporary Census positions offer an opportunity to earn extra money while helping your community. Most 2020 Census positions will last several weeks. Benefits include competitive wages, weekly paychecks, flexible hours and paid training.
No matter where you are in your job search, AustinUP encourages you to attend. It's always helpful to hear directly from recruiters about their preferences, process, culture, timing, etc.
This event is FREE to attend and will be held virtually via Zoom. Register here. All registered participants will be emailed the Zoom login information.
