The “Atrial Fibrillation” class presented by Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center is set for Thursday, June 11.
This class will educate you on the detection and treatment of atrial fibrillation and how you can lead a healthy, normal life.
Atrial fibrillation is the most common type of arrhythmia and occurs if rapid, disorganized electrical signals cause the heart's two upper chambers, called the atria, to fibrillate. People who have it may not feel symptoms, and even when atrial fibrillation isn't noticed, it can increase the risk of stroke.
