On Thursday, April 26, join Encompass Health and Rocky Hollow Lake House to learn about understanding behavior with dementia.
Liz Rees, area manager at Encompass Health, and Sarah Czerlinksky, speech language pathologist, will share effective communication tips, the different stages of dementia and how to better understand what certain behaviors mean and how best to respond to those behaviors.
This event is FREE to attend and is geared towards family and caregivers of loved ones with dementia or employees who work with seniors. Ice cream will be served.
