The Adult Protective Services' 10th Annual Older Americans Month Conference is set for May 29 at United Way.
This year's conference will cover "The Ethical and Legal Aspects of Service Planning in a Technological Age: Financial, Legal Mental Social and Healthcare Perspectives" and feature keynote speaker Dr. David Buck. As more people conduct their lives with the assistance of technology, its applicable to share the newest technological innovations and the ethical implications of using technology to conduct investigations and provide care for this vulnerable population.
Past conferences have resulted in more than 300 attendees from those in social work, medical and financial services to the law enforcement community.
