The 2018 Living with Alzheimer's: Hope for the Journey Caregiver Conference provided a valuable opportunity for caregivers of all types to learn from those who know best and to get assistance on navigating challenges and questions regarding multiple areas in caregiving.
Held on March 21, 2018, the annual free conference presented by Alzheimer's Association Capital of Texas Chapter included keynote speakers Jim and Geri Taylor, who were featured in the article "Fraying at the Edges" in the New York Times; Q&A with physicians; panel of caregivers; informational booths; light breakfast and lunch; and CEUs.
The event was sponsored by Belmont Village West Lake Hills, Belmont Village Lakeway, AseraCare Hospice, Accolade Homecare and Hospice, and Jewish Community Center Austin.
The Senior Resource Guide was a proud sponsor of this event. Attendees received free copies of the Senior Resource Guide.
