Family caregivers made it through the rainy weather to join CarePartners at their Spring 2019 Caregiver Mini-Conference at St. John the Divine.
Held on Saturday, April 6, the conference was a free community event to equip and encourage caregivers through skill-building workshops and resources. Attendees had the chance to listen to Valory Pavlik, PhD, associate director for research, Alzheimer’s Disease and Memory Disorders Center at Baylor College of Medicine, and Ruth-Ann E. Toups, elder law attorney. Between sessions, attendees were able to to visit exhibitor booths for additional resources.
CarePartners hosts several conferences throughout the year. For more information on upcoming conferences, please visit here.
The Senior Resource Guide was a proud sponsor of this event and provided free copies of the Guide’s latest Southwest Houston edition to attendees at their booth.
