Co-hosted by Alzheimer's Texas and the Central Texas Aging, Disability & Veterans Resource Center, the 7th Annual Alzheimer's Symposium included breakout sessions with professionals from the healthcare industry as well as a chance to speak with local vendors throughout the day.
Held on Friday, April 5, 2019, this year's event gave attendees the opportunity to learn Teepa Snow's nationally recognized Positive Approach to Care, including Positive Physical Approach and Hand Under Hand. Hands-On Caregiver Training was provided by Stephen Catoe, Positive Approach to Care certified trainer.
The Senior Resource Guide was a proud sponsor of this event and provided free copies of the Guide’s latest Austin edition to attendees at their booth.
