Martin Luther King Jr. Freedom Walk
Over 70 Conley-Guerrero Senior Activity Center participants gathered in the Charles Jordan Hall to celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday on January 15, 2016.
The celebration kicked off with a small opening ceremony before the Conley-Guerrero Inspirational Choir led the crowd out on the Boggy Creek Greenbelt. From there they had the MLK Jr. Freedom Walk that spanned from the Center to the Conley Pavilion.
The group sung several songs on the walking trail and fellowshipped with friends at the pavilion before heading back to the Center for refreshments.
