Part of the on-going workshop series to help family members effectively care for an older loved one, AGE of Central Texas will host a free caregiver seminar on Saturday, October 17 in the Large Meeting Room of the AGE Building.
Experts from the St. David’s Adaptive Driving Program will discuss how caregivers can evaluate their older loved ones’ driving abilities and explore local medically-based driving evaluations and driver training to promote senior independence and safety.
A limited amount of free, on-site respite care will be available at the Austin Adult Day Health Center during the seminar by RSVP only. To RSVP, please make your request with your online registration or contact Gailyn Trammell at 512.600.9275 by Wednesday, October 14.
