Reflections on Style, Prancing with a Purpose

The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary is thrilled to announce the Reflections on Style, Prancing with a Purpose, luncheon, fashion show and chic boutique is in full trot! The event will be held on Tuesday, April 16 at River Oaks Country Club. Leading the helm of this year’s event is Darlene Clark and special Honoree is Judi McGee.
The Salvation Army Woman’s Auxiliary's luncheon, runway show, silent auction and shopping in the chic boutique will feature new and gently worn designer clothing and accessories from some of Houston’s finest closets. The Harbor Light Choir will serenade guests as they enter.
Chic boutique co-chairs Leigh Newton Alvarez and Lynn Clayton have spent an entire year collecting treasures from some of the best and most stylish philanthropists for the event. Designer labels include Oscar de la Renta, CHANEL, Prada, Valentino and Christian Dior. This shop-til-you drop event is the most coveted ticket in town, selling out within 10 minutes. The best of the best items are presented on the runway in a masterfully crafted show by Lenny Matuszewski and Tamara Klosz Bonar.
Individual tickets are $600 and $1,000 and tables are available starting at $6,000. Tables at the $10,000 level and up and individual $1,000 tickets will enjoy priority early shopping in the chic boutique for the best selections.
