Join Alzheimer's Texas at this not-to-be missed event for caregivers on Tuesday, May 8.
This interactive workshop is designed to empower caregivers with tools, techniques and knowledge to provide expert care for loved ones with dementia.
Attendees will develop an understanding of stages of dementia; learn strategies to facilitate positive, supportive communication between caregiver and care receiver; learn multi-modal helping techniques, emphasizing use of preserved abilities; and learn to respond to unmet needs.
This class is FREE to attend and will be held in the Community Hall, 150-D at the Jewish Community Center.
