Buffalo Bayou Partnership
All aboard! Buffalo Bayou Partnership invites you to take "a look back" to the late 1800s, when Houston was founded, to learn about the important individuals and families along Buffalo Bayou who helped shape Houston.
Louis Aulbach, local historian and author of Buffalo Bayou: An Echo of Houston’s Wilderness Beginnings, will be the guide and provide historical information about places, people, animals and events along the bayou west and east of downtown. Stories of the Allen brothers, the founders of Houston, will also be shared.
