Traditions in Round Rock are as good as they come and nothing less is expected at this Independence Day celebration!
Head to Main Street in Downtown Round Rock at 10:00 a.m. for the Sertoma Round Rock Fourth of July Parade, which has become a signature event in the city with 20,000 spectators made up of residents and visitors from Austin, Georgetown and beyond. New this year—awards will be presented to the best floats, bands, cheerleading squad, drill team, decorated vehicle, equestrian and more!
Following the parade at noon, kick off Independence Day festivities at the Frontier Days Festival with music from the Austin Symphonic Band. The Festival will feature fireworks, full-scale carnival rides, jalapeño pepper eating contest, Swifty Swine Pig Races, rubber duck races, children’s games, Sam Bass Shootout, skydivers and Movies in the Park featuring the movie, "Star Wars: The Last Jedi."
