City of Dripping Springs Founders Day Festival
The annual Founders Day Festival honors the founding of Dripping Springs in 1850 by the Moss, Wallace, and Pound families and celebrates the tremendous spirit of volunteerism that still exists in the community today.
The 31st annual festival themed "Celebrate Drippin’" will kick off at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, April 27 with the Grand Parade. The celebration will continue all weekend long with live music and entertainment, street dances, the Mighty Thomas Carnival for kids, cook-off competitions, more than 150 arts and crafts vendors and business booths, tasty BBQ and traditional fair food. In addition, many non-profit and charitable organizations will be represented.

Hosted by the City of Dripping Springs, Dripping Springs Lions Club, and the Founders Day Commission, which represents various community organizations, proceeds directly benefit local non-profit organizations, churches, school and park programs, youth groups and charities.
Festival admission has remained FREE throughout the years because of the many volunteers, sponsors, local businesses and organizations that help cover expenses such as festival security, sanitation, barricades, tents, trash pick-up and publicity for the event.
Rotary Club of Dripping Springs, Texas will provide a shuttle for festival-goers from Dripping Springs High School. Free shuttle bus rides will be provided by Ledgestone Senior Living, Hill Country Care and Broadway Bank.
