9 Steps to Successful Aging: What Can We Learn from the Blue Zones?
Lakeline Oaks Retirement Community 1905 S Lakeline Blvd, Cedar Park, Texas 78613
Be Well MD
Be Well MD invites you to join them on Friday, April 27 for an informative seminar on "successful aging."
Abby Reeves, FNP-BC and Natalie Wald, APRN, AGCNS-BC will be speaking on the Power 9 lifestyle characteristics that scientists believe contribute to healthy aging and how to integrate them into your life.
The foundation of these presentations comes from the National Geographic Blue Zone study where some of the world’s best researchers in "successful aging" identified communities around the world with high concentrations of centenarians. These regions were labeled the “Blue Zones.”
What can we learn from the "Blue Zones?" While these communities are scattered across both hemispheres and different cultures, they share common habits that lead to successful aging. Through this compelling work, these scientists identified lifestyle characteristics—coined as the Power 9—that likely contribute to this longevity.
